Constance Nebbercracker Fandom

monster house characters

Her eyes are windows of different shapes, her left eye is square and her right eye is arch. The lower part of her face has the same wider roof and a platform where the door should be. When awakened or disturbed, her mouth shows small wooden plank-like teeth framed by the door. The kids then resume the investigation when suddenly, the floor below them opened, sending them to the basement where Nebbercracker kept the stolen toys from the children. There, they also discovered what appeared to be Constance's carriage that DJ opened with a key that he found back when Nebbercracker's body was taken away by medics.

Officers Landers and Lister

The door (the mouth) suddenly opens, revealing its interior's fractures, and shifts into a mouth-like cavern. Even the house's exterior turned into a demonic form while retaining its former appearance. The horrified Chowder is then chased by the house's rug (the tongue) that acts like a chameleon's tongue, and barely escapes. Chowder looks behind, where the house became more deformed than it previously was before returning to normal. That night, she possesses the telephone in her house (off-screen) and calls DJ through the telephone. Thinking that it may be a trick, he tries to call the house itself, only for no one to answer him.

DJ Walters

Chowder and Jenny are caught by the house, while DJ narrowly escapes the basement stairs, which try to grab him. In the entry hallway, DJ and Chowder are nearly eaten, but Jenny saves them by grabbing the house’s uvula, causing it to puke them out. Shortly afterwards, Nebbercracker returns home, and recounts how he met Constance, and explains that since her spirit possessed their house after her death, he pretended to dislike kids to keep them away from his house. A 12-year-old boy named DJ Walters spies on his elderly neighbor Horace Nebbercracker, who confiscates any item landing in his yard. DJ's parents leave town for the weekend for a dentist convention, leaving him in the care of Zee.

Bones

Later they came to Mr. Nebbercracker's lawn and Chowder rings the doorbell. This also awakens the house, and it tries to grab him with it's tongue carpet and fails. It later roars at DJ and Chowder which caused them to run to DJ's house. The next morning, a girl named Jenny Bennett is donating Halloween chocolates. DJ and Chowder see her going to Nebbercracker's house, and they rush out to warn her catching her before she is eaten by the house.

After Jenny manages to escape and fights off a huge doll of Constance, getting to the attic, DJ calls up to her from below and tries to get to her, but is caught by a canopy bed in the master bedroom after collecting a key on the bed. DJ and Jenny later meet up in the basement, and decide to just get out of the house. Nebbercracker stands up to Constance and realizes how much trouble she has caused recently, making her feel remorse for her actions. Nebbercracker then resolves to put Constance out of her misery by blowing her up with a dynamite. Infuriated by this “betrayal”, Constance grabs her husband, intent on killing him too.

When they entered it, they discovered Constance's corpse which was covered by a cement layer. Around her dead body, they found some flowers and photos that people would normally place on the grave of their loved ones. The police officers, however, were not the sole target, as they had the trees grab the police car and devour it into its mouth inside along with the kids. The kids managed to escape but are trapped inside the house as they witness the house’s interior revert back to normal. She was a human performing as a "circus freak" in a circus until Horace Nebbercracker saved her and married her.

The plot revolves around a neighborhood being terrorized by a sentient haunted house during Halloween. The film features the voices of Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner, Spencer Locke, Steve Buscemi, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kevin James, Nick Cannon, Jason Lee, Fred Willard, Jon Heder, Catherine O'Hara, and Kathleen Turner. As the credits roll, those who were eaten by the house emerge from the basement. Bones finds that Zee is now dating Skull, Officer Landers and Lester leave to "inspect" some of the trick-or-treating candy, and the dog urinates on a nearby jack-o'-lantern enough to put out its flame. These characters from the movie Monster House are ordered by their prominence in the film, so the most recognizable roles are at the top of the list.

Meanwhile, DJ meets up with Chowder, and the two investigate the house, but flee when it comes alive and attacks them. The next morning, a girl named Jenny Bennett is selling Halloween candy. DJ and Chowder see her going to Nebbercracker's house, and rush out to save her from being eaten. Realizing the furnace, which started burning when Nebbercracker was taken to the hospital, is the heart, they concoct a plan to infiltrate the house using a dummy filled with cold medicine that Chowder reluctantly steals from his dad’s pharmacy. However, they end up being arrested by the same police officers they called earlier.

Cause Of Death

Oblivious to what has lured them, the two officers decided to investigate the house against the kids’ wishes. Officer Landers notices that something seems not right as the other one is suddenly driven away by the tree’s roots. Officer Lister taunts the tree, which suddenly, prompts it to move and grab his leg. Things then suddenly became worse as the house attacks them and devours Officer Landers alive while sadistically playing with Officer Lister whom it grabbed via branches before eventually tossing him into its mouth. The movie focuses on DJ Walters (Mitchel Musso), a boy who is convinced that there's something strange about the house across the street, and believes it's alive. When his parents (Catherine O'Hara and Fred Willard) go away for the weekend, he tries convincing his babysitter Zee (Maggie Gyllenhaal) that there is something wrong about the house.

This causes the house to explode and Constance's spirit to be released, allowing her to spend a peaceful and loving moment with her husband before passing on, signifying that her wrath is finally gone. Nebbercracker is happy that both she and him are finally free from their torment and proceeds to return all the toys he had taken back to the children of the neighborhood. In the end, all the house's victims were revealed to be alive as well as they crawl out of the house's foundations.

Jenny decides to call for the police, but when police officers Landers and Lester arrive, they do not believe their story, as the house does not react to the kids' teasing while the cops are there. The three realize that no one is going to believe their experience with the house and decided to keep it to themselves. DJ and Chowder spy on the house but Chowder refuses to believe the house is possessed. Chowder emerges from the ground and imitates Nebbercracker on the porch, then rings the doorbell.

The house was shocked by this and started to get furious, but Nebbercracker argued, trying to blow the house up with the dynamite, and tried to tell the house that it was the best for it. Suddenly, the house disarmed him and ultimately lost its ability to reason, as it succumbed to its murderous instinct to eat him. In the hospital, when Nebbercracker nearly recovers, he realized that he has left Constance, she started her killing spree, and quickly stole one of the ambulances in the hospital to stop her from doing further damage. Horace Nebbercracker, also known as Mr. Nebbercracker, or Nebbercracker to some characters, is the overarching protagonist of the 2006 animated film Monster House.

When the house falls asleep, the children fall into the basement and discover the body of a very large woman covered in cement. The house realizes that the children are inside it and starts to attack them. DJ, Chowder, and Jenny grab onto the house's uvula, forcing it to vomit them out. Outside the house, the children are amazed to see Mr. Nebbercracker alive, returning from hospital with his arm in a sling. Nebbercracker tells them that the house is possessed by the spirit of the obese woman that they found in the basement, his late wife Constance, known as Constance the Giantess.

As Jenny and Chowder have been captured by bedsprings (which is like tentacles) and pipes that look like snakes hanging, DJ walks up the basement stairs until the stairs start to attack him as he climbs up to the first floor. Jenny forces the house to vomit them outside by grabbing onto its uvula. As DJ and Chowder argue about their ideas, and that Chowder risked his life for DJ for stealing drugs for him and DJ says that it was Chowder's idea to make DJ retrieve Chowder's ball back and DJ then hastily heads for home. As he does, he nearly gets run over by an ambulance hijacked by Nebbercracker, and the trio is surprised to see he arrives home alive, but with his arm in a sling. One day before Halloween, DJ and Chowder went to collect their ball which accidentally fell into Nebbercracker's lawn.

Mr. Nebbercracker hates kids and confiscates everything that lands on his lawn, telling people to stay off it and from his house due to his knowledge that the house is sapient. Beneath that rotten surface, however, there lies a sad man with justifiable reasons as to why he would behave horribly grumpy. All spoilers are unmarked. At the start of the game, Jenny and Chowder are separated from DJ, with Jenny getting stuck in the attic, while Chowder finds himself in the greenhouse. DJ, meanwhile, has to explore the first and second floors of the house, finding keys to unlock doors, and moving crates and uncovering secret passages, one of which leads to the basement, where he contacts Skull for information on how to deal with the house. DJ, along with Chowder and Jenny, is one of the three playable characters in the video game based on the film. The next morning, Jenny Bennett is on the street selling Halloween chocolates.

DJ was happy that he didn't cause the old man to be killed, but only crippled him instead. Nebbercracker then lashed out to the trio to leave, but his wrath quickly changes into worry as he realised that it was Halloween and kids would be approaching his house. He then approaches his house which becomes possessed again but somewhat became gentle to him.
